What's Happening in South Korea?

It's SNAFU-Situation Normal, All Fucked Up.

Since the death of the former president, South Korea is going through yet another political turmoil. One thing that is important is, democracy is in danger, and it's becoming a police state.

Everything that the government doesn't want to see or hear, is becoming illegal here in Korea.

This film is my first, hurriedly made documentary to let people know about the current situation in Korea. It's not yet perfectly edited, and I need further research and investigation on things I mentioned in this film, but I upload it since I think it's timely to do this now...

I am still gathering things for further making and editing.

한국 분들은 아마 한글 자막 없어도 내용이 다 이해가 갈 것이라고 희망하면서...
미네르바의 구속으로 부터 시작되는 이 다큐멘터리는 노무현 전 대통령의 서거를 둘러싸고 일어난 일련의 사건들과 그 이전에 일어났던 일들을 담은 것입니다.

대상 관객은 한국 맥락을 모르는 다른 나라 사람들입니다.

완성본이라기 보다는 0.9버전이라고 할 수 있지만 (자막감수도 안했고, 내용도 당초 생각했던 것 보다 대폭 들어낸 버전임) 지금 이 시점에 공유하는 것이 가장 시의적절하다고 생각하기 때문에.

이 다큐멘터리는 제 나름의 '시국선언' 이기도 합니다.
